Fiona graduated in 2004 with a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy  from The University of Nottingham. She started her career in St. Georges Hospital in Tooting, London where she completed her junior rotations. It was here that Fiona first developed her love of neurological physiotherapy when she was lucky enough to work alongside some of the country's top neuro physiotherapists.

Fiona completed a short stint working in the Community Neuro Rehabiltation Team in Epsom, Surrey before returning to St. George's Hospital and joining the highly specialist St. George's Neurosciences Team. Here she gained experience working in Neuro Intensive Care, Neuromedicine, Neurosurgery, Hyperacute and Acute stroke and The Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre.

In 2014, Fiona relocated to Leamington Spa with her husband and worked in the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team, The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (INRU) and Moor Green Out-patient Brain Injury Service in Birmingham.

In 2016 after a period of maternity leave, Fiona started a new role as a part-time specialist physiotherapist at Castel Froma Neuro Care in Leamington Spa. This gave her new experience working with long-term neurological conditions in a slow-stream rehabilitation setting and developed her skills in working with complex neuro-respiratory conditions and prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDoC).

In late 2021, Fiona established Fiona Stamper NeuroPhysio to provide specialist neuro physiotherapy to clients in Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas. She hopes that her service and experience will provide much needed physiotherapy to those who are unable to access the therapy that they require through the NHS.
